Today, the Cub Section of South Australia had a City Scramble – a activity that took place in town. Many of the country groups were able to do the activity through their local country town by adapting the activities.
Golden Grove Cubs met at the Golden
Grove Shopping Centre, and caught a bus into the city. Once we arrived, we
headed to the front of the museum and made sure we booked in. While there, we
did the 1st activity and headed off to the next checkpoint.
We didn’t get to all the checkpoints, but we did quite a few (only missing two
or three of them) and had a number of breaks during the day. It was also good
to see so many different groups in the city doing the activities.
It did rain towards the end of the
day, but it wasn’t that bad that we went home totally wet.
Overall, it was a good day, and we did manage to nail another cache while we
were there (although, I don’t know if the Cubs knew what I was doing, while
they were off enjoying themselves.
