Today, several Cubs and leaders joined with the Friends of Dry Creek to do some tree Planting.
There were 2000 trees to plant and
around 200 people (community) turned up. There were several Scout Groups,
besides Golden Grove Cubs, as well as a school group and general community
members in attendance.
Due to the number of people, the trees were planted quickly and were done
within an hour, instead of the advertised 2 hours.
Golden Grove Cubs last attended a tree planting with Friends of Dry Creek back in 2019, and hope we will be able to link in with them again in the future.
