Archery at Blanchtown - Sunday

Today, we were up early. Camp early, which means we were in fact up early enough to see the sunrise. Akela certainly got some good shots of the sunrise! She is a bit of nut when it comes to taking photos. In some ways, this is not a bad thing for our blog really!

After breakfast, we packed up camp and were heading home around 9am. This boded well for Akela getting to the Football this afternoon! She had thought she wasn’t going to make it. Now, the question really is, will she be able to stay awake through the game.

Archery Training Day One - with early morning fog

Today, Akela and I had a early start. We needed to be at Glen Osmond Scout Hall by 9am for the 1st day of Archery training.

We were a bit worried to start with, as there was a lot of fog around. We managed to get some photos in the city, when it was light enough to be able to take photos. It is not often that Adelaide has this much fog in the city.

Upon arrival at Glen Osmond Scout Hall, we were glad it was clear enough to be able to see clearly.

It was a good day, with both theory, hands on experience and good food. The evening was great, spending it around a open fire, talking.
