Today
was an early start and definitely a cool day. In fact, there was fog when we
got up this morning. It was certainly a cool day. But thankfully most of our
activities were either inside or when outside did keep us warm.
Some
of the day’s activities included what is a Sixer and Second, what makes a good
Sixer and Second, attending to the flag, care of uniform, tent pitching,
working together activities and campfire preparation.
Micky
spent most of the day with a cub from Edinburgh Park who took him around to all
the activities with her. It is going to be sad to see him go, but I also know
he is going to have an awesome time while he is travelling and I am sure he will
keep us all posted about his adventures.
After
much activity, it was time for the evening campfire and some challenges that
Akela thought up. She even challenged the cubs to be quiet for two minutes and
the cubs didn’t make a sound for almost three!
All
to soon it was time for bed and getting into the sleeping bags was greatly
appreciated.
