Today was the usual early start and many excited youth members eager to get into the day’s activities.
Each Unit was split into patrols of 6
youth members, and had a adult with them. Each patrol had selected their
activities. As a result, each patrol followed a different activity rotation through
the day. The only thing that was the same for everyone was meal times and the
time to be back at the unit’s campsite for bed time etc.
It made for a busy day, but the youth members seemed to enjoy it and allowed those
who were there with their siblings to experience different activities while
enjoying the same camp.
Due to the early start, and high activity level for the day, many were in bed and asleep early this evening.
