Today
the cubs were a little slower getting up. While still up early, it was not quite
the same enthusiasm as yesterday. Just a pity it was an early start again!
After
packing away their gear into bags and eating breakfast, it was straight into
the final sessions. These were around Knotting, Compass work and First Aid as
well as what is a Pack Council.
It
was soon over with parents arriving to collect their cubs at 12 to head home.
It
was also a final chance to say farewell to Micky on the way home, as Akela
packaged him up into his envelope and posted him to his first host in Far North
Queensland, Australia. Definitely sad to see him leave us, but I am sure that
he is going to have a great time and we will be kept posted about his many activities
and adventures.
