The
day was great weather wise and a lot of people around. We went for a walk 1st,
with Alaka and her dog, which was good – a 90 min walk! It was certainly a nice
day for it and a lot of people were out and about on their bikes or walking in
pairs or groups. We thought that was a fantastic thing to see!
Then,
we got back to the car, where we left the dog with Aleka’s husband for a drink
and a rest, while we went over to the jetty and had a look at the kites. We were
able to get some photos, but there were soooo many people there, that we only
got the one photo with us in it and the kites in the background. However, it
was a good day and we hope Akela can take us to the kite festival next year.
