New
Years was certainly interesting. Akela Sarah took me (Wilbur) to the cricket
game on at Adelaide Oval. We certainly had a great time and the Adelaide
Strikers (our home team) won the game, which certainly made the night.
We
also got to see several lots of fireworks (all legitimate ones!) as Adelaide
Oval was right next to Elder Park in Adelaide. They have a family friendly, non
alcoholic event every year. There were fireworks at 9pm (which we watched from
the Adelaide Oval, which is right across the river) and then on the way home,
we saw the fireworks from Semaphore – which is a Northern seaside suburb of
Adelaide.
It
was certainly an enjoyable New Years Eve. We would like to take this
opportunity to wish everyone a great new year.
